If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

  • Teeth Whitening Wolverhampton - Treatment Guide

Teeth whitening is the process of removing stains from teeth using special treatment methods that make them look whiter.

    How does it work?

The procedure usually takes about 1 hour 30. A tooth colour shade will be agreed and noted. The retractor is fitted which enables the tongue, lips, and cheeks to be held gently out of the way. The whitening gel is applied to all the teeth within the smile range, The activator light is then positioned just above the mouth. The gel is removed and the process is repeated to achieve optimum lightening.

    How much will it cost?

Teeth Whitening prices can vary from between about £60 for home kits to £199 for instant power whitening. All services are available from Palm Practice, a Wolverhampton based company offering a range of Holistic and Beauty treatments including instant power teeth whitening. For more information on services offered by Palm Practice, please visit their website.

    Is Teeth Whitening Safe?

Clinical studies have shown that power whitening under the supervision of a professionally trained technician is safe for teeth and gums. It has been used for over 50 years.

It is very important that the technician isolates your gums and lips with a protective material in order to avoid any potential damage. Teeth whitening is a procedure that should always be carried out under the supervision of a qualified technician or therapist.

How white will my teeth get?

This will depend on the initial colour and staining of your teeth, everybody’s teeth are different. Changes up to 14 shades lighter can be achieved.

How long do teeth whitening treatments last?

This depends on the patient and the patient’s oral habits, treatments can last up to 3 years with regular use of a maintenance kit. The average person will require periodic touch ups around once a year.

    Do all teeth whiten evenly?

There is an overall whitening of all teeth treated. The biting edges of the teeth are more likely to whiten faster than the areas adjacent to the gum.

    Are there any side effects?

For the majority of patients there are no side effects. However, some people may experience some temporary sensitivity on the teeth or gums. This can last up to around 48 hrs.

It is recomended that you consult with a fully qulaified therapist before undergoing any teeth whitening treatments.

I myself, am a qualified holistic therapist, if you would like to have a chat with me for some advice, or if you would like to arrange a consultation, click here for my contact details.

    Your Insurance

    Hello,

I would like my teeth whitened, also i would like to know if you take bookings of more than one person?

What i would like to know is are you covered by Insurance in case anything goes wrong? If so which company?

Sorry for the questions but i am a bit scared of dentistry work anyway and want to be 100% sure.

I would be very grateful if you will answer my questions.

    Thank you

    Marie
