If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
    Hi All,

Monday will be 3 weeks, after 12 years of daily smoking its so tough... My head was totally heavy the first week as I quit cold turkey. I started having anxiety 2 weeks ago joined by a panic attack, I felt like I was going to loose my balance and lose consciousness. Along with this I had an attack when I was driving now that is in the back of my head and cant seem to get it out. Sleep time I feel like my body is shaking, some nights are better than others

Last week I succumbed and called my naturopath friend, he asked me to take B100 complex and B1 vitamin along with L-Theanine for anxiety.. I just hope that monday my 3rd week will turn a page for me and this anxiety will dissipate. If any one has a comment, on the above will greatly appreciate.

    All the best to everyone....

    Hi burnabylink,

I have been smoke free for over a month now and the first 3 weeks i was having the exact same symptoms you are experiencing. I was tired, weak, dizzy and had a dull headache 24/7, it was really terrible. I had trouble going out in public because I would experience these terrible dizzy spells and felt like i was going to faint or pass out. I also quit cold turkey after smoking heavily for 11 years. Anyway the bottom line is that this will eventually go away and does not last forever. Welcome to the rehab group and stay strong!

      Thanks for the reply

I am glad to know that am not alone, this is almost like counseling getting your thoughts out which helps in its own... today i woke up and was in a positive state of mind compared to the last 3 weeks. Am going to stay positive, which my mind wouldn't let me do for the last little while...

One thing I know now is that all that I heard about mj being not addictive etc etc is the biggest crock....

Hi burnabylink welcome to the forum.

I got panic attacks from smoking the drug too. When you have a bad one the term panic attack doesn’t begin to describe just how bad you can feel, people who have not experienced them probably think oh it’s just a bit of anxiety, but they can be extremely intense experiences. One thing that is now fairly well recognised is that if you are experiencing panic attacks, marijuana usually isn’t good for you, although if you stop too suddenly that can also cause anxiety too. I think the right nutritional supplements can really help as well as eating a healthy diet.

Thanks for sharing, good luck and please keep us posted on how it goes.

        Take care
