If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
I was on such a high during the last few days... Today I feel like I would just get smashed. I am so irritable, so on the edge. I feel so tired. During the last few days I felt like I would not touch anything again, today a spliff would be soo good and relaxing. F***!

not sure where your at in the detox process but after a few weeks your energy levels will lift up to much more normal levels, and the irritability will go away mostly. What helped me most when I had those feelings was to take a shower or a hot Epsom salt bath w/ baking soda as it helps with the detox and gets your mind off the tiredness and irritability. In addition to this you can try working out or just running as it raises your dopamine/ feel good levels naturally and will help your mood become better. Stick with it though those feelings will pass and your rehabilitation will be well on its way and you will feel amazing naturally without the need of substance. If you want a group to talk to about these feelings till they pass they have marijuana anonymous meetings in most communities now where you can discuss these issues with a group that will understand.

It is one hell of a rollercoaster, especially for the first few months, I still have days where I could murder a spliff and I have not smoked for a long time, I probably always will.

        Hi doublehaze,

I'm so sorry to hear you're going thru the mill rite now..it sux bigtime...I'm glad u came here and vented instead of going for the spliff..congratulations on doing that cos I know how hard it is!! I'm in the middle of an angry time too...hate it! But as much as it irritates me, I know that pot wouldn't help...and I'd end up being even angrier...with myself mainly! This detoxing thing sux. It gets so frustrating and seems never ending at times....but it will end buddy...things will look better. The ups and downs do your head in but the downs get fewer and further between and the angry thing..will pass tomorrow, or the next day..or the next! It passes..it comes in big thunderous crashing waves but they always recede...I'll keep that in mind if u will! Like needabreak says, we haven't killed anyone, so we're doing pretty well..Peace.

Hang in there man, I know where your coming from I'm there in fact. I think I'm around a month now totally clean and my hope just feels like its gone but I'm still alive eh, the outlook may well turn positive once more but for the past week my heads been crashed. Does not help my anxieties one bit this smoking abstinence and my well-being is so short lived mostly like sparks.
          Stay strong.
