If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
hi all, i smoked weekly for 1 year, daily for 3 and have been totaly clean now over 3 years. in my opinion weeks 4-8 can be a danger time for relapse, surprisingly this is usualy the time people start seeing results and feeling better too. when you quit the first week is the hardest and the next few can be just as tough, all your thoughts and energy are on quiting, hour by hour day by day you fight it. before you know it the fog lifts your head clears and you can see the finish line. at this stage its easy to think you've won and let your guard down, dont. not yet. firstly, things do get easier from here but there are stil big mood swings and after feeling good these downers realy suck, if you have lost focus its easy to convince yourself one smoke to get you through a bad day is a good way out, but in a few hours when you realize whats happend youll feel worse. these down days will come and go becomeing less frequent and intence so hang in there. sometimes, as was the case with me, after 5 weeks i just felt good, no down days anymore and for some reason thought this was a good reason to have a cone, makes no sence to me now but at the time how could one cone hurt, that sort of thinking got me hooked in the first place. siting there stoned again i started thinking about haveing another one tomorrow, i didnt but was so close to starting it all back up again for no good reason at all, then i would have had to go through the whole quit prosses again. so even when it starts getting easier remember what you went through to get where you are, you dont want to have to do it again, just one smoke dosent work. dont live to smoke, quit to live

    Relapse

I tend to disagree with some of the points in the above post.

I believe every day is a good day for a relapse. I am lead to believe it takes 1000 days to break a habit. As time goes on it is easy to forget why you wanted to stop doing whatever. It is also easy to fall into the belief that you can have a little bit from time to time. Once one becomes an all day every day smoker there is NO having a little bit now and then, you have to understand you can NEVER smoke it again.

Even now I dont subscribe to the belief drugs are bad, but doing anything too much is! Most people dont have a problem with pot, they smoke it now and then, no problem, but like most substances there are a small percentage that do.

I think it’s hard to say when the danger of relapse is greatest, as different people experience different degrees of detox at different times, for some the first few weeks may be the hardest, for others it may not hit them until a few weeks later, one thing I have noticed from reading the experiences on CannabisRehab.org is that everybody’s experience can be different. Generally the longer you go the easier I would say it gets, but some do find that it doesn’t hit them until much later on.
