Hi there all, i have just found CannabisRehab.org and have been reading over some of the posts and would like to make my own.
I started smoking mj around about 2 years ago, when i first tried it in my 2nd year of University, it started out as just the one joint that first night, which was an amazing experience, like nothing i had experienced before, so of course it led me to do it more often, over the first year it was still pretty slow, mostly because we had no way of attaining it easily, and also were probably quite naive about the whole issue.
This has now turned into this year, where i have now failed the second part of my course, partly due to starting to work (as i was not enjoying my study), but also due to mj. It has now got to the point where i am smoking it on a very regular basis, multiple times a day. This is made very easy due to the fact i work from home, and also my flat mates also smoke as i do.
Now when i first realised this may be a problem was 3 days ago when i returned home, i had smoked constantly up until i came home assuming "Oh i won't be able to get high, so i best do it now", this for a start is obviously a problem lol - The second which i have realised after reading a few posts in these forums was that i actually brought some back home 'just incase' i needed it, now for me, as i realise now is just terrible, it should have never got to this point.
But the main reason was some weird side affects which i was experiencing, mostly a very upset stomach, originally i thought it was just from drinking the night before, but now that i look into it i see that it can be a common side affect.
Basically i am not sure what to do here, is it best just to try and go cold turkey from here after not smoking for 3 days (as i do feel pretty terrible, mostly my body, mentally at the moment i am ok, but know once i go back i will want to smoke again, even if just to ease my stomach or is it best for me to try and ween myself of it by smoking less and less each day (As i am sure most people say, i really would like to be able to continue to smoke casually at some stage, but maybe this is not even possible after how much i have smoked in the last half a year or so)
Thanks all (Good to be able to just put it out there) - Wish you all well on your attempts
