If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
hi im in a bit of a dilemma ive given up the drug for nearly a year now i do still miss it sumtimes im 33 yrs old. i wasnt really having any negative effects from it but was at a low point in my life i lost my job and my gf in the same sort of period (not to do with the drug i might add) so i thought it might be the right time 2 quit and do something else.

Im now thinking that i might be running out if time as 2 when i could still smoke it and enjoy it as ive heard that as u get older (especially 40+) your body cant really cope with it and the high goes. does anyone relate?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

To be honest if you have managed to give it up for nearly a year I wouldn’t really be wanting to deliberately start again, whether you have felt any negative effects up to now or not or whether you will in the future, if you have managed to give it up for this long and are coping ok I don’t think there’s any point in going back to it, like you say the more you do it and the older you get the more likely you are to experience the negative side effects, why take the risk? It’s never as good as when you first start, the more you do it the less fun it tends to be, you have probably had the best days it is likely to give you, I would probably call it a day before you run anymore risk of ending up in the sort of situation many of us here have, I think you probably have more to lose than you will gain. Anyway that’s just my take on it.

Take care and please keep us posted.
