Hi Guys,
I'm back with bad news and want to ask for advice.
I relapsed at 62th day. Then i handled not to smoke 8 days and after second joint, i started to smoke non-stop. I was seeing someone from detox department and when i relapsed and started to smoke non-stop, we immediately decided to have a treatment in the clinic.
I was planning to stay in the clinic for 4 weeks but now they insist on giving the treatment for 6 weeks. I want to go out after 4 weeks because still there is a PhD project going on and i want to be back at the university not so late. If i stay longer, i will start to be obsessed about the things i should do when i go back, and now i feel like i will never fall back. Because if i do, i will really start to loose things that i definitely do not want do (my PhD, even my marriage may be), and that makes me think like i will not relapse this time.
However, on the other hand, i relapsed many times before and may be it's really best to stay here longer to get as better as i can.
They also say that, if you smoked more than 1500 joints in your lifetime, it takes 6 weeks for the drug to go out from your body (and that's their motivation to keep me here for 6 weeks). However, i was clean for 2 months and then i smoked for just 10 days before coming to clinics. So, do you think it will still take 6 weeks to get clean from weed?
They all say here that before you go out, you should learn to deal with things in real life but i feel like 'I have to learn it outside, not here, so it's not really beneficial to stay here longer'
I'm really very confused at the moment about what to do and will really appreciate some advice.
