If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

Unregistered, I haven't developed impotence problems per say however, I have no desire for sex without cannabis. It's so frustrating because I can barely think about sex, let alone partake in sexual activity unless I have smoked a joint. I know everyone says that normal feelings will eventually return but I wonder how long and if eventually it will become an impotence issue 4 me. I definitely don't believe we're the only ones with sexual problems that stem from our previous cannabis use. I just wish I had the solution of how to regain a normal, healthy sex life without having to get stoned to enjoy it. If you resolve your issue please pass on the info. to the forum, I'm sure many would benefit.

I don’t really know about this issue specifically in regards to cannabis, but I did hear of one guy that a friend of a friend knew that was having a problem in that area, I don’t know if it was drug related or not he did do a bit of cocaine but I don’t know if there was any connection, anyway his doctor told him that there was no way of telling what would happen, he said it may get better or it may not, not much help I know but if there is any correlation between the two then it may not be something you are able to answer at least in this particular point in time one way or the other, I apologise I can’t be of more help, like I say I don’t really know much about this sort of thing especially in regards to cannabis, but that’s the only thing I have ever heard in regards to something like that. But I do know that many of the negative effects caused by drugs even if you don’t recover completely you can get significantly better, so I would not rule it out at this stage, I know psychologically it must be an absolute nightmare, I am really sorry to hear it, you have my deepest sympathy.

Take care and please keep us posted.

thanks for trying anyway mate, i know u would give me sound adivce if u knew it, i actually respect u more for not feeding me aload of horse shit, i prefer u saying u dont know instead of hopeless lies. i just dont know what to do, ive tryed tesosterone boosters, i take multi vitamins, i go running, i do weights, i take protein shakes and so on, its an absolute nightmare, if i see a buff girl i wana have fun so badly but it just wont happen, i get really horny and i cant do anything about it, its enough to drive me to a breakdown, i just dont get how pot can do this to somone, if it was cocaine, spend, mdma i would understand it, but its not, its just weed! its gotten to the point where ive even considerd am i gay? lmao, i now im not but thats how crazy this has become! i may just have to be one of those people that take viagra, but like i said the side affects are horrible, the sex is amazing, but seriously the hedaches from viagra is like nothing i have experienced before, not to mention the blue and green colours i see. i feel really hopless at the moment, even when i google erectile dysfunction due to cannabis, i can only find so much, befoe i smoked the drug heavily (or when i first started smoking it might b more appropriate) i could keep it up for upto an hour. my doctor has told me it is anxiety, personally i think thats bullshit because i remmeber when it first happend, the girl was so buff, i had known her years, i had never been nervous around her, she was a best firned, i wanted it so badly and halfway through it just wouldnt stay up. LIFE IS SHIT. gues im never going to have kids, whoever is reading this, learn a lesson. tho it does feel like im the only one that this has happend to, thats whats so difficult about it, i feel like a freak.

I know what you mean, the drug has damaged me pretty severely, with me it was mainly in terms of mental health, cognitive abilities and state of consciousness in general and although I have recovered significantly compared to how I was when I was at my worst, although I have been able to rebuild some kind of a life for myself which isn’t too bad, I am not the person I once was, it has left me with lasting damage, I too thought it was only weed, I soon realised that all the “information” I had heard on how safe it was wasn’t necessarily the case for everybody. The one thing I have learned about peoples experiences with cannabis especially when it comes to the damage it may or not do and including people’s ability to recover, is that peoples experiences can be so very different, some people are able to get pretty much back to normal, plenty of people here have found that to be the case, but unfortunately there are some who will never be how they once were, as far as I am aware there is no real way to tell where on the scale you will be. I watched one video on YouTube where doctors were talking about the damage drink and drugs do to the brain, including those who have abused marijuana heavily, using actual brain scans that showed how these drugs have harmed the brains ability to function properly, they said that it was interesting how firstly some people’s brains were much more vulnerable to been harmed by these drugs than others and secondly the difference in ability to pick up function after discontinuation and recover, some just fair much better than others they said, which may sort of explain why people have such different experiences.

My mother said to me recently that one guy she read about who abused cannabis heavily took 8 years before he felt more or less back to his old self, I have gone around 4-5 so maybe there is hope for further improvement even for me. Anyway a slightly different field to what you are experiencing unless it is something neurological and not physiological in the reproductive organs themselves, which even if it’s not anxiety passé could still be as a result of what’s going on upstairs instead of down below. Medical science these days is amazing but there are still many things that doctors can’t really answer for sure. Anyway there is more to your identity as a man and a human being than sexual prowess, I know modern day society does it’s best to make us feel otherwise, although that aside I know it’s something which we as people will always crave, just try to be as Zen as possible about it if you can until you can see what happens, I know that’s not always easy, lord knows I struggle.

I've had sex issues but i attributed that to growing up (im 23). But now that i think about it, all the times that i was with a girl to have sex i was either drunk or stoned or both.

I should also point out that this was at a point in my life where i realized that im more Bi than straight so that could also have something to do with it.

As for quitting, I havn't seen much impotence.

I need to point out something as well. I am a business student, so i analyze ways that companies lure people to buy their product. VIAGRA tells people, that if your significant other is "in the mood" and you can get it up, you are impotent. WRONG! Sex is natural, and it has to occur naturally. Many people simply try to get undressed, have intercourse, and then go about their daily lives. This is WRONG! If you love your significant other (hence the word "significant"), you need to be romantic, passionate, loving, caring, and trusting. With these in mine, you wont have a problem in bed.

There are many Doctors who try and tell people the same thing. TRUST in yourself, and you wont need drugs (need it be Viagra or Pot) to do anything.

well i hope your right, to be honest i did get slightly annoyed when u said to me that all i need to do is love care ect to have sex

ive lovedd cared for been extremely attracted to girls in the past 2 years that this has been happening, it just doesnt work, seems to me more like ive nerve damaged a part of my brain coz this just isnt getting better.

and i think viagra's one of the best drugs out there, at least it means i can feel half decent about myself, takes the depression away for a couple of days after having good sex.

and the bi thing i really dont think i am but im willing to consider anything at the moment hahaha.

Yeah I have to agree, impotence may have a number of different causes including the physiological which could either be in what some people refer to as the body (outside of the brain) or in the actual the brain it’s self, although they are both part of your body, certain problems that are labelled as psychological are a result of what’s physiologically happening in the brain, this is often the case with marijuana, most things to do with it get labelled as psychological which may be the case in terms of the symptoms but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a physiological cause, the one can affect the other, the brain is just as much a physical part of the body as any other, not everything that is labelled as psychological or as having psychological symptoms is necessarily psychosomatic or just a result of having the wrong mind set, this is something that a lot of people are not aware of in regards to many problems that have psychological symptoms, especially in regards to certain types of mental illness, (someone with schizophrenia has as much of a physical problem with their body as someone who has Alzheimer’s or a broken leg) and the same can go for some of the negative symptoms that can be experienced as a result of marijuana use or withdrawal. So I don’t think to say it’s automatically due to a lack of loving or caring is necessarily fair. Anyhow that’s just my take on it based on what I have learned.

Dont get me wrong, there are actual conditions where viagra and other medications are effective and can help. This is why its always helpful to ask your doctor.

My point is that some companies will tell you that if your unable to get it up on the spot than you must be defective and need to buy their product to have any hope of being happy.

All im saying is to do your research, and never to take any one persons opinion too seriously, weither that person is a viagra company, a doctor, or myself.

When it comes to any medication there will always be some who genuinely need them and some who don’t and even then it’s a personal choice as to whether you want to take them or can live with the side effects, I totally understand the point you are making the drug companies would have you believe that almost everybody should be using their product, just like any other company that has something to sell, but like you say do your research and make up your own mind. What you are saying may be true for many, but as with anything I think the main thing to remember is that it doesn’t necessarily apply to everybody. I think it’s a fair enough point as long as you keep that in mind, not that I am telling you, that’s just my suggestion and way I see it. I appreciate whether or not to take medication is a very personal thing and everybody has a different opinion. I respect however it is that different people feel about it.

Yeah you do have to be careful ordering drugs of the internet, you don’t necessarily know what you are getting, it’s a sign of how desperate you must feel I guess, It must be so tough, this is the thing with drugs that are not necessarily lethal or considered to be “safer” they can really mess up your life in many other ways, something so many of us here have experienced to differing extents, still like I say try not to rule anything out I still think you have a chance of recovering.

I just did a quick Google on cannabis in regards to impotence and found the following:

                            Don't give up

Ok man if you're still reading this, listen up.

You CAN'T not talk about this, you need to communicate your problem to get it solved. I have the same shit man, I smoked and now everything's terrible for me too. I went through the same boughts of suicide and self loathing, but eventually I just went ahead and told some people. I'm on my way to the doctor in a few days.

Go back to the doc, make him take you seriously. You have a serious medical condition, and you and others should treat it as such. Try REAL viagra or other PDE5 inhibitors, you're probs eating sawdust off of an Indian manufacturing plant. Also, look in to cabergoline. It's a dopamine agonist and greatly lowers levels of prolactin. It should send your sex drive through the roof, read up man. It'll help with depression too, another side effect pot has left me with. Herbal stuff is usually a no go and can even be quite dangerous, but taking L-Arginine can help you out, it helped me a little. It acts along the same pathways as viagra, but in a different way. Viagra inhibits the PDE5 enzyme witch breaks down Nitric Oxide (NO) in your blood. Increased NO levels in your blood relax blood vessels and calm the smooth muscle in your body. The more NO you've got circulating, the easier it is to get an erection. L-Arginine doesn't inhibit the enzyme; instead it plays a role in the formation of NO in your body, leading to that increased NO content.

Man, just hang in there. There IS a solution, even if in the end you have to get implants. The problem will get solved if you pursue it.

                            Stay strong.

                              marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
When I was about 19 years old I quit marijuana for a year and half or so. During the first few months of withdrawal, I had constant pains in my testicle area. Every time I laughed or coughed I would feel the pain. I also did not have much sexual desire at all.

This scared the crap out of me, and finally after saving up some money I went to go see a doctor. I honestly thought I had testicular cancer.

I got my results shortly after and my doc could not explain my issues at all. Everything was good.

In due time, the problem went away. I know deep down inside it had to do with marijuana use.

Also, that time when I did quit, it was the first time in who knows how many years. I am on day 23 now and I have no issues like that before. But I wanted to share my story because I know how this kind of issue can scare the crap out of you.
I hope like myself, your problem will go away in due time. But going to a doctor will help because the results can calm your nerves, or help you get treatment if you need it.

                              Best wishes.
