If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

  • The storm is over!

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
For the last two and a half days I am very glad to say that I have been feeling much, much, much better, maybe like I did before I ever began with drugs 6 1/2 years ago when I was 12 years old. It might be too soon to call this over, but at the time being I am a very happy individual. All of the anxiety and depression and mood swings seem to have lifted, and although I have a massive amount of school work to do at the moment and it is trying, I feel like I am finally back to a point where it all seems easy enough for me to live.

If this keeps up, wow, I will be able to appreciate everything in my life for quite a while. It is really like a storm has lifted. For a long time I had completely lost hope, and now I have finally regained a sense of life's worth.

Last night I thought of this analogy. The experiences of my childhood and smoking the drug had me teetering on the edge of a cliff, and I could have stayed there forever. Then I had an excruciatingly bad mushroom trip, my family suffered some horrible losses, and I fell out with almost all of my friends and my girlfriend, all at once. I fell off of the cliff, plunged into the water, and struggled for my life. Somehow I made it back to the shore, partially swimming, mostly floating along the current. Now I see where the cliff is one direction, and I see where the ocean is in the other, and I'm just sitting on the beach watching the waves come up to my feet, and smiling.

Thanks a lot to everyone on this forum, I will continue to moderate and hopefully I can give advice to people who need it, especially those who became addicted early in their life like I did. Although I was very functional, almost over functional, for the past few months, I think that I have finally cemented my perspective so that I can be happy and responsible on a day to day level.
