If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
I have become addicted to marijuana, and when reading through these forums i can relate to almost all of these posts involving my lazy stoner lifestyle.
Ive come to a point now where im going to have to detox or i WILL fail university.. all my mates are kronic the drug mokers and i usually start and end my day with a couple of lazy cones..

for me to kick the habbit will mean that i have to kick my mates, but are they really mates if they arnt willing to drop the habbit too or help me out

weed became a way to chill and escape stress of my life.. but now im too chill.. hope i can kick this shit asap..

o well off for my last chop nite

Your friends are just people who need a positive example too. Why don't YOU become that postive example and show them that it is possible to detox with alittle effort and dedication. What you probably don't realize is that they all wish they can quit too. I don't think it's wise to treat anybody as disposable. Although we live in a largely disposable society, nobody should be treated like a Bic lighter. My former dealer George (who looks like Ozzy, btw) always says, he doesn't care if I buy the drug off him or not. He'll always be a friend regardless. He still calls me up to chat on the phone even though I haven't bought off him in months. He's been smoking all his life. He's almost 60 years old and has NO desire whatsoever to detox smoking dope. There's a part of me that respects him for the fact that he can separate dope from his friends. Nothing more hurtful to one's soul than to realize that the people you thought of as friends really had no respect for you. That they were just a means to an end. That it all meant nothing to them.

First thing you have to do, is not panic. Secondly, you should NEVER wake and bake, ESPECIALLY in your case where you need to concentrate in University in order to be able to absord the material. You don't need to be fighting the urge to nod off in class. You have your whole life to smoke if you choose to. Why sabatoge your education now? It would be better if you tried to go the whole week without smoking pot and then light one up on the weekend and stick to that one. At first it will be an conscious effort to get out of the daily smoking thing, but once you start to build momentum, you'll want to stay on track and it won't feel like such a conscious effort. Guaranteed to improve your performance and well being or your money back.

Hi and welcome to the forum

This is a dilemma that everybody who quits has to deal with, how do you quit the thing that you love and the people you love to hang around with? It’s an extremely difficult thing to do as not only have you become extremely attached to the drug it’s self but also the people that you do it with. At the end of the day giving up the drug is something that has to happen if you want to quit, you do have to choose which it is that you want more, giving up the people isn’t necessarily absolutely necessary but unfortunately it is something that most people find they have to do if they want to succeed, most people find that it’s just too hard to continue the lifestyle they used to lead which involves the people it used to involve and resist the temptation. Maybe it can depend on the overall lifestyle that hanging around with those people involves, if it’s a social circle that although they smoke the drug like to do many other things that don’t involve smoking the drug then maybe it’s possible to still do those things and just avoid the odd bit that involves smoking weed, unfortunately with many social circles that smoke the drug it’s the biggest part of what they enjoy to do together, I know with my social circle it was almost all we did do and when we weren’t doing so all we wanted to do was get to the place where we could do it. If this is the kind of social circle that you are hanging around with then there is very little chance that you will quit if you continue to do so. I suppose you could always try and see how you go, maybe then you will know if it’s necessary for your situation or not.

Anyway it’s late here so I hope that has made some kind of sense.

Take care, thanks for posting and please keep us posted on how it goes.

      All the best
