If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
Here’s an interesting article about how long marijuana detox symptoms last and studies that have been done on the subject. It talks about detox symptoms peaking within around two to four days and lasting for up to around ten days, although one of the studies say’s that symptoms peaked within seven to ten days of marijuana abstinence. Although all studies said that after twenty eight days most people are back to normal, apart from symptoms of irritability and physical tension which can remain slightly elevated for longer. So whether you feel the worst after just a few days, or just over a week later may vary depending on the individual, but most people are feeling much better after about a month.

These are just averages, we all heal at different rates and some experience marijuana detox symptoms more so than others, so don’t panic if you have a experience that is different. But I hope it gives you an indication of what most people can expect.

I am going cold turkey..I smoked everyday for decades..but waited until after work..except on weekends, when it was as soon as my coffee was poured. I wont miss the burned out feeling that hit on Sat afternoons..
I know I will be cranky and irritible but I think CannabisRehab.org will help me vent to folks that understand..good luck to all of you.

          How long will this last?!

I've been sick for about a week now, three of the days being throwing up anything I try and eat, even water. I've probably read everything on the internet about withdrawals but I was wondering if anybody else suffered this long?

            Wihdrawal symptoms

I have been smoking for 5 years, at the end, 3 to 4 a night. i have been free of it for 2 weeks 2moro, and this morning i had a full blown panic attack. pins and needles, cold sweats, creeping skin and horrid dreams. i had a similar attack last weekend, but was at a wedding so drank thru it!

Its now 7.20 at night and im feeling a lot better. it was very very scary but once i realised what it was i could calm down.

deffo get out and exercise if you can. and dont give in...

              Hi guys,

Last time I detoxed (May 2008)I was sick (vomiting..all the things u described)for 4 days..felt like utter cr'ap. I'v been detoxing nearly 9 weeks now (cold turkey)and this time I didn't feel so ill...headaches, shakiness etc but no throwing up...caved and had a few j's (don't do it, its not worth it..u think u feel bad now, but trust me it makes everything worse!) but have been completely without a j for 4 weeks and 3 days and I am still experiencing anxiety but I'm noticing it lessens a little every day..still having trouble sleeping and with the whole emotions thing..one minute I'm up, the next I'm down...and the dreams are still a worry, but again, its nothing like what it was when I first came off mj and cos I realise its part of the proccess I'm handling things pretty well. Don't give up, any of u...ur doing really well. Its hard but worth it. U will feel betta soon I promise...can't give u an exact time frame, cos everyone is different, but I'm hoping that things ease for you really quickly..its bad enough having to go thru the normal symptoms of detoxing without dealing with feeling nauseous as well. The only thing I can tell u for sure is that the longer you go without pot, the better things become with all the symtoms, both physical and emotional. Please keep us posted...we really do want to help...good luck and stay strong. Peace.

                Additional to detox symptoms

I meant to put in my comment; many thanks for this forum. just reading it helped me so much and i could begin to explain not just to myself but to my girlfriend exactly what i was experiencing even tho my pride was in more pain than myself!

also, dont resort to booze, i only put that as an example of how badly i reacted before even realising it was withdrawal.

i was always told there are no symptoms and the drug isnt addictive. everyone is different i know but, i for one will not be smoking the drug again, just aint worth it.

i really hope this helps in someway to anyone who is feeling like i am, as 2moro is a new day and the comments on CannabisRehab.org helped me calm down and realise that!

whats the average on boys who become violently ill cant sleep cant eat cant go to the loo so they try to make themselves chuck
and get niggly if they havent had it much that day

                  and also
goes on a cruise for over a week and is fine.. but i guess alot of jack daniels and cokes would help keep you distracted

I quit after 3 years of smoking from the time I got up to sleep at night, had quit in the past with horrible withdraw symptoms. This time however I had relatively few withdraw symptoms except cravings, mood fluctuation, apetite change, and insomnia(which is still ongoing). The first two lasted about 3-4 weeks, but the insomnia seems to not be going away at this point even though I'm up to 3 months sober.

                      Mind over Body

I'M 39 and i've only smoked MJ for about 8 months of my life. Wow it was fun! I've always been in great physical shape no known health problems, i'm very in tune with my body, so when i smoked and as of late my tolerance remained low. Now that i've decided not to smoke i'm experiencing fatigue, a little stomach discomfort and naseua but I love to eat so.. and not because of the munchies. I love a challenge so this should be very interesting. the best challenges can be with yourself. Good luck to all. i'll keep you all posted. Mind over Body.

In my current experience (end of day 18), the third week is worse than the first 2 as far as anxiety and nervousness go. Maybe it's because I'm now facing outside factors that make my life more stressful, but I think it ties in with what I've expericenced in the past (yes, I've quit before). Seems like the fog remains and keeps me relatively calm until the end of week 2, where there's so little THC left in my blood that my brain goes berserk... maybe others can relate.

                              marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
                              cant take it

i quit smoking marijuana and i'm pretty sure its been at least a month or more and i still feel stressed and irritable i get sudden urges to smoke but i'm trying really hard to say no, i dont know if maybe its something else but i used to smoke at least 5 times a day everyday for more than a year

is it possible for withdrawls to last more than a month, has that ever been heard of.
