If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
    Hi I am 31 from the UK, I’m quitting marijuana for good, I’ve been using it daily for about 9-10 years, it was fun to begin with but then I’ve just had loads of negatives for the last 6-7 years really but I haven’t been able to quit.
    I’m 11 days clean now, in my experience the first 8 days were hell I can’t lie, I felt so angry, sad, furious, scared, I didn’t actually get cravings until day 7 which is strange, days 7&8 I had incredible urges.
    From day 9 things have got more bareable but I won’t lie I still feel anxious, depressed, lost and can’t sleep well but the urges have pretty much gone (at the moment).
    I feel proud that I didn’t cave in and that I have my power back and am not controlled by weed.
    I have ordered some l-tyrosine online which is meant to help with getting dopamine levels back to normal and some melatonin 1mg capsules to have with sleep.
    Get you’re life back, don’t let weed control you’re life.

    Good Job on quitting, yes the first weeks are hell and seems even approaching Day 90 for me, sleep still not up to what i would like.
    I've found that some of life's trials and tribulations can be harder to deal with when one doesn't have the weed to run to.
    Anxiety-driven insomnia, where normally i'd of smoked so much pot in the day...sleeping was a form of coma.
    Facing life sober is a challenge compared to just blowing my brains out with weed and not caring.

      Id imagine it will get easier for you, I think life feels difficult as we are in withdrawal still, so we feel lathergic, anxious, depressed, the brain is still repairing itself, most people seem to be more back to normal after 5-6 months.

        Worth respect! But do not relax, it may even be more difficult, because at any unpleasant and difficult moment the subconscious mind will try again and again to incline you to the weed! You have a long and difficult work on yourself, on your thoughts and actions, most importantly, do not lose faith in yourself and you will succeed!

          About your sleep: Running for an hour can help normalize your sleep. In addition, exercise has been proven to increase the level of endorphins, which gives you a better mood.
          Another reason why an increase in activity is a good thing is because of the simple reason that THC is stored in the fat cells of your body. Decreasing the number of fat cells in the body means a drop in the level of cannabinoids stored in your body.
          Practicing safe sex is another means of overcoming common withdrawal symptoms related to the absence of cannabis. Increasing your sexual activity, either with a partner or through masturbation can help keep your endorphin levels up, and also distract you from the thought of using cannabis. So in case, you are doing it once a week, why not do it three times a week? You could do this before going to sleep, which could also help you relax and fight sleepless nights.
