If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
Hello everyone, I came across this website about a month ago during the first week of my weed withdrawals and boy has it helped a lot. It is good to see I am not alone in this journey, but I did have some thoughts I needed help coming to terms with. I am 23 years old and I smoked weed for about 2 years basically every night before I would sleep. I did this only at night and never smoked before 7 pm. It has been a little over a month for me and while the first couple weeks were absolute hell mentally, I still get:
-waves of anxiety and depression over the course of the day
    -deep heart palpations
-dizzy spins & vertigo right when the evening comes around
    -insomnia
-loss of feeling like myself, I don't feel like how I used to, life doesn't feel the same sadly
-hypnic jerking right as a fall asleep, a weird sensation comes and I feel as though my bed is moving (it is a nightmare)
I also noticed during my first couple weeks I never suffered from a loss of appetite, and I see that as being one of the biggest symptoms during withdrawals. So this makes me question if this is maybe something else or common for weed withdrawals. I know with this whole pandemic going on, it arises anxiety but I just don't feel like myself anymore and need some clarity. I have been seeing a doctor and she prescribed me anti-anxiety meds 5 minutes into talking assuming it was because of all that is going on. Most doctors i've talked to don't know much about weed withdrawals, but I am almost certain this is that. I have never felt this anxiety and depression in my life. Please give me your insight if you have any.
Thank you everyone and stay happy and safe during this time

I've been visiting this website ever since quit, too. It has helped a lot. I've tried to keep my thread updated as much as I can and have tried to comment on others posts as well. We all have to help eachother.

As for your experience, it sounds pretty standard. My biggest symptom has been anxiety. It comes in waves all day long and after a while the waves leave you feeling ill. Dizzy, lightheaded etc. I've even had the doctors try to give me anxiety medication. You should read my thread. It probably answers most of the questions you've asked as we've had very similar symptoms.

I will say, though, that it will continue to get better. You will get through this. Everything you're feeling right now is from the withdrawal. Don't psyche yourself out thinking you have heart disease or whatever. You are going to be ok. Just gotta accept it and tough it out. Weed gave us a few years of fun, right? Well this is the price

Hey Nerdturd, Thanks so much for your reply. I am glad we are in this together, along with all the other individuals on this site. Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. I guess what scares me is the fact it's been well over a month and nothing has gotten better, therefore it triggers my anxiety even more to make me believe this will be permanent. And trust me, I know that is no way to be thinking, but the past month and a week have been a nightmare for me, speaking with multiple doctors and specialists a week, moving back home to my parents, and literally no socializing at all bc the anxiety has been so bad. I am 23 f, and a major extrovert so this has just been a complete 180 for me. I have seen your other posts on this site and feel for you and am here for you!! We will get through this

Just wanted to say hi and let you know you’re not alone. Got 90% of those symptoms, day 26 and already much better (gradually, day by day). Give it time, it sounds like you are past the worst, and feel free to share and chat - discussing this stuff really helps!

Don’t want to repost, but I sent a long reply to nerd’s thread. Wishing you the very best! Stay positive!
