If you feel a post is inappropriate

Hi folks,

Just a quick note in regards to the moderation of the group. Sometimes if I am a bit short on time or if we get a lot of posts at once I may have to just skim the overall gist of the posts rather than reading them word for word before I approve them, also we all have a different perspective as to what is acceptable and thus there may sometimes be the odd post that gets through that you may feel is inappropriate. And while this doesn’t seem to happen very often if there is anything that anybody reads and feels is inappropriate then please feel free to either shoot me a PM or use the contact form to let me know and I will always be happy to take another look at it.

Please keep in mind however that a post does have to be quite bad or harmful to the group as a whole for us to delete it, I don’t like to be too heavy handed with that kind of moderation and try to reserve it for only when it is absolutely necessarily as generally I like people to be able to have their say and most things can be ironed out with dialogue and often we can all learn from it, that said if you feel something is inappropriate like I say please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take another look.

All the best,

    marijuana withdrawal symptoms relief
    Hi,
I'm on day 3 of quitting cold turkey...cutting down just didn't work. Doing it for my kids, mainly, and for my own good as well. I have no support and am way too ashamed of myself to disclose my addiction to anyone. My friends all smoke pot anyway and don't think I have a problem, but I know I do. I'm just really scared right now of failing or of going crazy while I withdraw. Don't want my life to be controlled by this any more and worried about my ability to continue what looks like being a long process. Really glad I found this as its comforting to see so many others who are dealing with exactly the same thing.

    Peace, love and lollipops!

Keep at it dont give up it does get better even though it might seem at the moment that it wont. It doesnt happen overnight, and your mind will play every trick in the book 2 get u to have another smoke, but if u stay strong then in the long run u will benefit, u will look back one day and not understand why u had to smoke it

Hi hippychick welcome to the forum.

Cutting down gradually isn’t necessarily for everybody, you have to do whatever you feel is best for you. It’s so tough when all your friends smoke pot and look at you like your crazy when you tell them you want to quit, it was exactly the same for me, that’s why it’s good to have as much contact as possible with those who understand what you are trying to do and are maybe in the same boat themselves, remember there’s always anonymous support groups like narcotics or marijuana anonymous and anytime you want to get something off your chest we are here to listen 24/7. So I hope you won’t feel completely on your own.

Be sure to check out our How to detox smoking marijuana post and please keep us posted on your progress. We are all with you.

      Good luck!

Giving up is very brave and sometimes can feel lonely, but there are thousands of people like us out there all in the same situation, visiting CannabisRehab.org has made me realise we are not alone.

The best of luck hippy chick.

          Thanks guys,

It really is helpful to know there are others out there like me. I live in a rural community that doesn't have na. I split up with an abusive alcoholic partner 2 weeks ago and I'm still dealing with the ramifications of that. Its probably not the wisest time to stop, but then when is? A crutch is a crutch and there will always be an excuse to use it. The info I got from this cannabis rehab site has been invaluable and at least makes me feel a little prepared for what to expect and how best to go about this. Lets face it, it was always going to be hard work and it was always going to be scary...nothing is dulled at all any more. Nothing. But I'll get there. I have to believe I'm better than this and I want my life back!

Thankyou so much for your messages of support. It means a lot.

          Hippychick.
