Day 225. Happy Holidays everyone! Just wanted to update my progress. Im sleeping pretty well now. It took over 7 months but im getting around 7 hours a night now. Anxiety is almost completely gone. I wake up feeling refreshed. I would say im about 70 to 80 percent back to normal. Still feeling bored and restless at times and hard to get motivated. Still feeling "stupid" too like my IQ went down a few points and have trouble retaining information. And of course the cravings are still there. If youre new to quitting i recommend journaling everyday for the first few months. I think that helped me a lot. Good luck everybody.

Yes, that's right. Two years at the end of this month. Looking back, the whole first year kinda sucked for me. This past year was much better, but it was progressive. I feel pretty good these days. Still have trouble sleeping at times but not like before. And I don't feel as depressed as I did. What an ordeal!
    Thanks for acknowledging my anniversary!

Hang in there Eroica! You should give yourself a big pat on the back for making it this far! You are on the down slope to a full year.

Day 201. Havent had any headaches in a while but surprisingly my night sweats resurfaced for a few days after months. Also the insomnia comes and goes. Muscle tension remains my biggest symptom. One day at a time.

Hi Admin..i only take a B complex...occasionally Ill take magnesium but thats it. I tried theanine a while ago but it didnt do much. I dont think I can afford the other treatments you mentioned unfortunately, but I would love to try them.

The only reason I ask is that the whole neurotropic thing seems to be developing quite a bit these days, obviously I don't know for certain which may benefit you as it seems different people can get results from different things they try but there may be something out there now that may help with the concentration, things like ampakines, lionsmane mushroom, NGF, etc.

There are also some interesting new types of therapy been used to help maximize neuroplasticity such as cold exposure, hyperbaric oxygen, etc. I would love to try the hyperbaric therapy myself as I still struggle a bit with memory, etc, so hopefully with more of those places becoming available that may also become more of an option from here on, it also interests me as far as the pontnetial for such therapies to aid addiction recvoery in general which I suspect could hold significant benefit as this is obviously a big part of recovery.
