    Default Quitting cannabis - Losing or gaining weight?

    For those in the process of quitting their addiction to cannabis, have you noticed a weight gain or weight loss? I think it could go either way for me. I tend to eat when I'm stressed but then again I also eat a lot when I'm high so maybe my weight will stay the same. Has anybody used weight as a motivating factor to quit?

    I've lost a little bit of weight. I'm not snacking nearly as much .... no more munchies lol.

    It was actually one of the reasons I quit, I knew that I was holding some extra weight due to excess eating. Wanting to be very healthy.

    I have found that watching what I eat and good nutrition has helped me stay clean and helped me feel better while I was having withdrawal. I took mega doses of Omega-3 and I also took niacin supplements. I read somewhere that it can be helpful for withdrawal and it took the edge off. It might have been in my head, but I'll take it.

    I think losing weight would be the result because you're more motivated to do things, even if it's not exercise per se, you'll still be up and around and not sitting on the couch. I've never been one for munchies so that wasn't a problem for me.
