Cool Day 22 last again day!

Thanks Alice and Juan for stopping in!

You guys are super right when it comes to mindfulness/awareness, I'm a big fan but struggling with the motivation to constantly practice it.. next step, might meditate with head-space after I plan my objectives for the day! No night sweats last night and yes I dream but I seem to forget them after I wake up and my gears start to turn about recurring thoughts and new ones. So implementing that mindfulness is an important next step. Buy Juan I think your right about the eating too late might also affect the quality of sleep. Another thing... I really been liking coffee and a part of me knows I need to slow down with it, it gives me the jitters but I like it... or do I

As for good luck in English, thumbs up means your doing good, fingers crossed means good luck... in the white north anyways, Alice chime in here if its different in Auzy land. But in addition to mindfulness and meditation, I've been whining about wanting to stretch, exercise but yet to make it stick daily.. .I'll keep this forum posted when I finally get on the role. I'll do some today, but I'm having coffee afterwords and hitting the books! Learning is my mission apparently these days.

Yeah, keep in mind a healthy regime and its effects on your body can be somewhat irrelavant, but very helpfull to get off of your addiction.

Eat variable big foods in the morning, regular sized lunch and light foods (salads and such) for dinner. Make sure to eat all kinds of stuff throughout the week. Exercise, mediation will be a huge relief. I can almost quarantee to you that if you exercise every day untill you are sweaty and feeling weak, you will get rid of night sweats. Don't ever drink coffee on an empty stomach, or in the evening before sleep. Even though you fall asleep, you wont get enough of it, same effect thc has on your sleep.

I personally stay off of coffee (most of the time, max 1 coffee a week) exactly because of the jitters you talk about. I know I can enjoy them but at the same time knowing the jitters are basically your body going to over-drive mode and that's not healthy. I used to love to get high in the morning while drinking coffee and letting my body go into some insane modes (even before breakfast) but at that point it becomes as healthy as taking meth (its actually a similar feeling I'd say).

I do drink a lot of earl grey tho so I'm not very much of a role model. God I need to quit that too if I ever want my white teeth back

    Default Day 24!

THanks for the pep talk juanG. What do you mean by healthy diet being irrelevant?, to my understanding the body is an Ecosystem, you mess with one--- you mess with a system. In regards to your eating recommendations... I fast during the day if I can, and always drink coffee on empty. Not sure what meth feels like, but I do get a zing from the coffee. I don't generally try to meditate when I'm on coffee lol. How's your quit coming along?

As for my update,,, new record being both tobacco, and weed free, I've also not looked at any pretty digital women which is also a challenge in today's world. So overall I'm pretty happy with my progress. I have to admit that its still not easy, but I am distracting my self with my phone and with Canadian, American and now Polish politics... It's funny in Canada I'm a total Liberal embracing this countries diversity and values... as a Polish man I'm the opposite very proud of their independence, unique culture and their pride, and their amazing progress. Especially the fact that they're simply not bending over to the EU, its a beautiful thing... As for america... I'm not ever going there until that wack job is out of the white house and back on the golf course. So plenty of distractions and opinions to keep me busy.

However, enough of that... I want to devote my waking life to my objectives, I'm badly in debt and things are going to get worse before they get better, but I have a plan. Life is still so good providing I pay more attention to it. Schools going really good too, but its also getting in the way just as much as my procrastination. I know I've been whining about implementing some healthy rituals and I had my first session this morning ... I hope to keep it up. No more sweats so thats great! Sleeping good and waking up before my alarm. Anxieties are tempering off. No more awkwardness in awkward situations... feeling comftorable!

There is a nice girl that I'm not really into, she's pretty and my libido's come back full force. Normally I would be all over it, but now I wan't to save myself for someone special as corny as that sounds. I really think this new way of thinking is a product of my abstinence..... interesting.

Irrelevant as in you can get really f*d up simply by having a bad diet (which kinda sounds like you have) and it can make you feel shitty without having any addiction, on the other side having a good diet and regime can make you feel really well. Adding addiction to it, bad diet might add to withdrawal symptoms and general hardness of abstinence. I've had stomach issues, uclers and infammations due to eating fast, eating on the run, while stressed out and drinking plenty of coffee and tea on an empty stomach. I highly recommend you cease doing that if you don't want to go through that. Eating calmly, sitting down and having a variable diet can make you feel completely different.

Also masturbation isn't bad, but yeah trying to sort of avoid porn is for the best, as our minds can get somewhat fixated on the illusion of seeing literally hundreds of women. Afaik it's good to masturbate just by yourself, imagining things, being slow about it, tempo of a sex.

Also I'd stray far away from political discussions, trust me, I went to /pol/, leftypol on reddit and plenty of other 'political' discussions for a long enough time to have a very stable and accurate of opinion of what these political discussion and overloading yourself with these topics can cause. You become over-opinionated thinking you know what's right and best for others. The system is incredibly complicated, judging EU as a whole singularity is simply naive as is judging a state, a town or one court. You always have to take apart the elements that combine to make it so. Therefor it's best to adjust your own moral opinions on things you can actually affect and that can affect you (such as having a gay child and wanting that child to have kids of its own or making a reasonable stance on why you feel entitled to be nationalistic besides the fact you were born in place X, i have studied art history and culture and i despise how many nationalists have practically zero knowledge about their own culture, yet somehow feel entitled to fight for it). I can highly recommend listening to people like Alan Watts or Sam Harris and practicing inner moral and ethical balance. Sam also has good guides on meditation.

On my quitting, I'm only on the fourth day so far, but since I've lowered dosage in past weeks, I have practically avoided all withdrawal symptoms besides sweating at night, but that seems to disappear when I exercise. I'm becoming a lot more energetic and I'm getting clarity.

Pay back your debts asap man. There's not much I can add to that.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Juan, I think you should take your own advice and try to look inward before distributing info your obviously not an expert in. The purpose of this forum is to assist people with cannabis withdrawals and challenges. It's not to pick on women and calling their situations pathetic,(especially when they are an integral part of this forum), its not to make assumptions without actually knowing the facts. There are so many things that you've said that are inaccurate so I won't even bother correcting you because you've elevated yourself to a point where I don't think it would not be constructive. You want to smoke meth, masturbate to porn "sorta", and have an opinion about country X, that's fine. But please try to keep this forum relevant to Cannabis. Your on day 4, that's great! Still sweating.... maybe its your diet, try eating slower and lay off the earl grey. ... (thats a joke by the way). I know you probably have good intentions but try to practice some empathy and sensitivity. Just so you know...your shhiiittt stinks too, just like everybody else's.

    Hi Juan,

Don't go. I believe that you can be a helpful and productive member of this community. Maybe it is the differences between our cultures that makes it difficult between all of us right now. I completely understand where Kasper was coming from. When I read your post last night, I felt as though perhaps you were a bit too quick to judge and provide this list of 'should's. It is disempowering, I guess. 'Should' really is a dirty word.

I hope that you will stay though, and that you and Kasper will make up, because I feel that if you continue to engage with us, you will learn more about yourself and grow as a person, and get better at this stuff!

Ya Juan I also think you could benefit from this forum and my intention was never to have you leave, I was simply being transparent of how you were coming off and my perception of your comments. Yes I was ticked off, no doubt... so I expressed it, its healthy and easy to do on here. Honesty is always the best approach, and I simply called you out on your ssshhhiiitt. We all are in the process of growth here and the feedback and support from one another is an integral part of that learning and growing process. I really hope you stick around, 4 days is a really good start, and feeling bad about maybe negatively affecting people is also very promising and is great quality. You've mentioned ticking people off and leaving forums before due to "ruining communities". Well I disagree and think every situation is an opportunity to learn and grow... So that being said... I think you "should" stay this time and work on it. I'll also try to be more delicate because I'm far from perfect as well and know the value of the accountability that I get on here. Lo siento hermano.

Juan has actually PM'd me asking me to ban him, I must admit I don't think I have ever had that before, a request by somebody to ban themselves. I will comply if it's what he really wants or he can either post less or even not again at all or just for a while if he so chooses. Anyway I haven't done it yet as I know we can all sometimes make decisions in hast when we are upset and especially as the other two main parties involved seem to have no desire to see that happen, which is indicative of their grace. It's always nice to see people keen to work through their disputes and always the best outcome when possible, so if we just all see how it goes for now and take it from there?

    All the best,

Sounds good Admin, I have no wish to see Juan banned. I think he must have felt bad after Kasper and my comments, but I don't think they were particularly out of line, and he is obviously sensitive about previous forums. You can see from his posts last night, that he got progressively more self conscious, so I hope you are right, and perhaps he will come back when he has calmed down a bit. I agree, it is always good to work through our differences, and the online world can be fraught with miscommunication, especially in places like these where feelings are involved.

Thanks for letting us know the situation, and for playing the sage moderator
