i think it took over 6 months for my sleeping to become normal......
now sleeping like a baby, although i get up frequently to pee coz i'm an old dude w/BPH.

oh yes, passing out by 9pm and waking up by sunrise (only to wake and bake) was my standard on the weed, for 20 years....
    i also had frequent naps.....
now seems i'm up till almost midnight and stay in bed till 0630 or even 800am sometimes...rarely get a 15 minute nap.......

i was smoking all day, napping and then having coffee!

Day 107. Feeling a little irritable today. I have no patience with anything. Usually as the day goes on its gets better before becoming worse again late at night.

Hi Desert Newt. Thanks for stopping by. To be honest i would take insomnia over my other symptoms, even though it is bothersome. But the not being able to socialise or even talk and finding the right words...like today i had to talk to my physical therapist and i couldnt talk except for short sentences. I must have sounded like i didnt want to talk to him. It was embarassing. Yesterday i ran into an acquaintence and the same thing happened.

Sleep is off course primary in our brain function.
Give it some more time, as sleep gets back to normal...your brain will be rested and clear and alert!
A good nights sleep, solid REM is best drug ever!
I can dig ditches all day long and not feel as tired compared to talking and interacting with people all day!
Mental function is more tiring, that complex organic computer thing, than physical labor, and more demanding.

Keep plugging along, i'd give it a full year to see best results.
even after a year, i have some ways to go, but the basics are covered now.
the challenges are aging are upon me now....oh boy what fun age 54 is!

    all the best,
    Desert Newt

Day 108. Almost to the 3.5 month mark. I was reading the forums and a lot of people say they feel better after 4 months or at least the bad periods dont come as often. Im still plagued with boredom, low energy, restlessness, and concentration and motivation problems but some days are better than others.

Day 109. Had a killer headache last night so i took an advil. I dont know why, but advil makes me sleepy so i was able to sleep through the night. Not sure if the headache was because of withdrawal or because i was out in the heat too long. Drank plenty of water throughout the day though.

Day 110. Last night I had a LOT of anxiety and then insomnia. I think it was a PAWS episode. It reminded me of the beginning stage of my withdrawal. But I feel better now. One day at a time.

Day 111. Yesterday was a relatively good day. I slept pretty well last night too. Woke up with a little anxiety today though. I still miss pot but im not getting cravings every day. I had to go to the insurance office Friday which happens to be right next to my dealers apt. And that triggered a craving but it didnt last long.

Day 113. Insomnia again last night. I felt fine going to bed. Then i got up a few hours later full of anger for no reason and i couldnt go back to sleep. I feel fine right now though..so i guess it was like a mini PAWS episode?
